Abil : Ok hubby…
They go to their bedroom.

and not happening. Don’t you want to
have kids?
Abil : Urm..but I’m not ready yet
hubby..
Nasir : It’s okay. Besides, I’m
also busy with my works and our financial is not stable yet.
Abil : But the problem is…how do
we prevent, so that I won’t get pregnant?
Nasir : Erm….let me think
first..(thinking). Ha!! How about we ask Alim’s opinion? Because he already
been married for 3 years. He is more experience than us.
Abil : It’s a good idea hubby.
Nasir : Okay. I call him now.
Narrator : Nasir and Alim set
their meeting and decide to meet the next day.
| situation 2 |
Place : Restaurant
Nasir : Assalammu’alaikum. Sorry
I’m late.
Alim : Wa’alaikumussalam. It’s
okay. So, what’s the problem bro?
Nasir : Ha……(sigh). Stress! My
wife and I are not ready to have a baby. Since you already been married for 3
years, can you give us some suggestion.
Alim : There are two ways to
prevent pregnancy. Modern way and traditional way. In my opinion, I prefer to
use modern way. But my mother said that traditional way is better. I don’t know
to explain in detail about this two method. But I know people who can give
advice to you about this matter.

Situation 3
Place : Herbs Specialist House
Narrator : Abil, Nasir and Alim,
go to herbs specialist house to get information about traditional way to
prevent pregnancy.
Abil, Nasir and Alim :
Assalammu’alaikum…
Amalina : Wa’alaikumussalam..
Come in. Come in. Have a sit dear.
Alim : Actually…..
Amalina : I know why you came
here. Is it about pregnancy?
Abil : Yes. So, how can I prevent
from getting pregnant?
Amalina : There are a lot of
ways. One of them is using lemon.
Nasir : Lemon???
Amalina : Yes. Lemon (show the
lemon). This method works externally, and it is done during sexual intercourse.
Women used to soaks sponges in lemon juices before inserting them vaginally. The
sponge itself would act as a physical barrier between the sperm and the cervix.
Abil : So, I’m using the lemon?
Amalina : Yes. It is for wife.
Nasir : Doesn’t it hurts?
Amalina : I think you know right?
Alim : Is it effective?
Amalina : This method was likely
less effective since sperm can enter the cervix and hence out of reach of any
douching within minutes of ejaculation. But the cost for lemon is cheap.
Nasir : Oh, now we know. Thank
you so much.
Narrator : Then they go back. The couple is
still not confident. They decide to see gynecologist for getting information
about modern way. The next day, Alim brings the couple to hospital.| situation 4 |
Situation 4
Place : Gynecologist Room
Abil, Nasir and Alim : Assalammu’alaikum…(tok tok tok)
Najihah : Yes, come in. May I help you?
Nasir : We want to know about modern way to prevent
pregnancy. So, can you explain to us?
Najihah : Actually, there are many methods to prevent
pregnancy using modern way. One of the method is using birth control pills.
Abil : How does it work?
Najihah : Birth control pills prevent pregnancy through
several mechanisms, mainly by stopping ovulation. If no egg is released, there
is nothing to be fertilized by sperm, and the woman cannot get pregnant. Birth
control pills works internally and if it is not practiced in the right way such
as if the pills is not taken at the appointed time, it will cause the pill to
not work effectively. But if the pills is taken according to the specified
time, it can work effectively without a doubt.
Abil : Is it affordable?
Najihah : The cost of the pill is about $15 to $25 a month.
The cost of the pill varies depending on the type of pill a woman is prescribed
to. However, due to current demands, these pills can be easily purchased from
pharmacies and clinics.
Nasir : Thank you so much for your information.
Narrator : After they meet the gynecologist, the couple went
back home. Then, they decide to use modern way because it is easier.
and my group did a good job...
thanx alim, nasir, nabila and jiha...
